Certified Passive House:

Projects that are marked as "Quality Approved Passive House" were certified by the Passivhaus Institut (PHI) or through a person authorized by the PHI. The Passive House criteria as specified by the PHI are fulfilled. For more information see Passive House Criteria in the database or visit www.passiv.de or www.passivhaus-info.de.

Certified Component:

The Passivhaus Institut defines criteria and methods of testing for components being of vital importance in the Passive House. The certificate "Component Suitable for Passive Houses", e.g. for windows, glazing, entry doors, ventilation systems, construction systems, is only assigned by the PHI. On www.passiv.de, the homepage of the PHI, you can find more information about Passive House criteria for components suitable for Passive Houses and their certification.

IG Passivhaus Deutschland:

Members of the Information-Gemeinschaft Passivhaus Deutschland (Information-Community Passive House Germany) regularly receive current information regarding energy efficiency. International Passive House Association (iPHA):

iPHA is a global network of Passive House stakeholders including architects, planners, scientists, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and property developers. It works to promote the Passive House Standard and foster a greater public understanding of its significance. www.passivehouse-international.org.

Passive House Day:

Projects marked with this logo could be visited during the Passive House Day of the respective year. For more information please visit www.ig-passivhaus.de.

Certified Passive House Designer:

The Passive House Institute offers the certificate „Certified Passive House Designer/Consultant “. There are two ways to acquire this certificate: - through advanced training and an exam or a documented design and construction of a Quality Approved Passive House building.
